THAT awkward moment when you feel like a jerk because everything is your fault!

I literally just posted a picture on here last week about my love for photography. Suddenly, that love doesn’t matter anymore.
My whole world flipped upside down Friday, November 5th at 11:3 AM.
I got a phone call saying my one year old brother fell down the stairs at the babysitter’s and was in the hospital. I figured he needed stitches or he broke a bone - nevertheless, I dropped everything and got there as soon as I could.
My day turned into a nightmare. He was unconscious and never woke up. My baby brother and only sibling, Brooks, suffered severe head trauma and a brain bleed. He went into immediate brain surgery - but unfortunately they could not continue because his blood was just not clotting. He continued on a respirator.
Today, Sunday November 7th at 9 AM, my precious little man passed away. This is all unreal to me, and I don’t know how I’m going to survive without the love of my life.
God must have had greater plans for Brooks. He was able to donate five of his organs. I know he will make a perfect angel.
My left wrist is his name - so I can see it everyday. My right wrist is his hand print from when he was born. I spent hours on end this weekend by his bedside holding his hand and snuggling with him.
I love you, Brooks. You are the best little brother in the universe.
